Campus Cupid Terms of Use
These terms cover eligibility, account responsibilities, acceptable use, subscriptions, communication and account termination. Campus Cupid is for people aged 18 or older. Read the complete terms in the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in or affiliated with a college or university to use Campus Cupid. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to verify your enrollment status.
2. Account Rules
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Each person may only create one account. You must use your real identity - impersonation is strictly prohibited. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your profile up to date.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: harass, threaten, or bully other users; send spam or unsolicited messages; post offensive, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content; use the app for commercial purposes; attempt to scrape data or reverse-engineer the app; create fake profiles or misrepresent yourself.
4. Photo Guidelines
All photos must be of you. Group photos, photos with minors, nudity, violence, or copyrighted content are not allowed. We reserve the right to remove any photo that violates these guidelines without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
5. Selfie Verification
Selfie verification is optional but recommended. By submitting a verification selfie, you consent to its storage and use solely for identity confirmation. Verified profiles display a badge. Verification does not guarantee that a profile is who they claim to be - always exercise caution.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Campus Cupid offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to the app store's refund policy. Features and pricing are subject to change with notice to active subscribers.
7. Matches & Communication
Matches and likes expire after 56 hours to encourage timely interaction. We do not guarantee any specific number of matches. Messages between matched users are private but may be reviewed if reported for violations. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
Campus Cupid is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, interactions with other users, or any content posted by users. You use the app at your own risk and are solely responsible for your interactions.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or email.
